12. Prismic

Manipulate prisms to direct parts of the light spectrum to match a pattern.

White light contains 12 colors;
V,VB,B,BG,G,GY,Y,YO,O,OR,R,RV

Each prism has 8 rotation angles.
By rotating a prism the outgoing light from each side can be directed in 8 directions.
If the incoming attributes are perpendicular to a prism surface the outgoing colors are split 2 ways.
If the incoming attributes are at 60* or 30* to a prism surface the outgoing colors are split 3 ways.

When a unequal division occurs neighboring colors are added to make an even split.
12 colors split 2 ways = 2x6
12 colors split 3 ways = 3x4
6 colors split 2 ways = 2x3
6 colors split 3 ways = 3x3
4 colors split 2 ways = 2x2
4 colors split 3 ways = 3x2
3 colors split 2 ways = 2x2
3 colors split 3 ways = 3x1
2 colors split 2 ways = 2x1
2 colors split 3 ways = 2x1 + black
1 color split 2 ways = 1 + black
1 color split 3 ways = 1 + 2xblack
